About our charity : Ashgate Hospice Ashgate Hospice
Ashgate Hospice is an independent registered charity covering North Derbyshire, providing specialist palliative care to terminally ill adults and their families. Care is provided on the ward, day centre, out patient suite and at home and all services are provided free of charge. £1.5 M must be raised annually from voluntary giving.

Just to let you know what funds have been raised so far with the fundraising events for 2007 and 2009:

2007 Sponsored head shave with Mohican raised £573.50

2008 Sponsored walk from Clowne Campus to Chesterfield Campus raised £509.47.
 
2009 Sponsored "Skydive" with Rach McManus, Mel Fern and Tom Williams raised £2583.50
Grand total to date is £3666.47
 

Our next main fund raising event will NOW take place in June 2010 and will be a sponsored “Sky-Dive.”16 staff members from Chesterfield College will be doing the "SKydive."

This fundraising event is for the following 3 fantastic charities:
 
 
They are all paying for the jump out of their own pockets so that all sponsorship raised will go to the cjosen charities.

The jump is taking place in Nottinghmashire and will be from approx 14,000 feet.
